The FT JN1010 has an effective spray reach of 4–7 metres, allowing you to fight fires safely from a distance. Each can contains 600ml (700g gross weight) of formula. The spray is controlled and continuous, giving you time to suppress the fire thoroughly. You should only attempt to extinguish a fire in its early stages — if the fire is beyond the initial stage, evacuate immediately and call 111.

Fire Terminator is rated for storage between -16°C and 65°C, which comfortably covers NZ outdoor conditions year-round — from a South Island winter through to a North Island summer. For best results we recommend a sheltered spot rather than full exposure to the elements: a garage, shed, carport, workshop, boat cabin, caravan locker, or wall-mounted under a covered eave all work well. Two things to avoid: prolonged direct sunlight (surfaces in summer sun can push past 65°C, and like any pressurised can, sustained heat above that range shortens shelf life) and sitting in standing water. Under cover, out of direct sun, and within the rated temperature range — you’re good.
